 We offer some very unique services at our store, and wanted to share them with you!All of these packages are reasonably priced, and if you have any questions or are interested in booking a service, please email us at info@simplyelegantgowns.com!

One of our most popular services is the Bridal Gown Delivery service. If you so choose, we will deliver your gown to you on your wedding day to the location where you will be getting dressed. Many of our brides have found this service to be very useful and efficient.

We also offer a Dressing the Bride service. Typically we arrive 1 hour before the ceremony starts and meet the Bride at the site where she will be getting dressed. We will deliver your gown and assist you, and the Bridal Party, in getting in to your gowns, as well as adjusting the veil/jewelry and any other finishing touches that you may need.  We will travel with our emergency kit and portable steamer so that we can take care of any last minute issues that may arise!

Our last package, and one of our most booked, is the Wedding Coordinating Service. This service is designed to to be customized to suit each individual Bride's needs. We will sit down with you and determine all the things you need to make your wedding day run smoothly, and then we will take care of all of those details so you can relax and enjoy your day. This allows you to have someone there the day off, making sure that everything that you have planned is executed the way you want it to be! With this service, we always include delivery and dressing services.

Air Brush Tanning!

We are excited to announce that we are now offering Air Brush Tanning! This is a safe and effective way to get a sun kissed glow before any special event. This service is by appointment only, and we can do it at our site, or we can bring the tanning to you. Our mobile tanning service is great for bridal parties! Current pricing is as follows: Full body - $40.00 Partial body - $25.00 Special information for Brides to be! Tips for the perfect wedding day tan: Spray tans take about 8 hours for the solution to develop before you shower, but it takes 24 hours to develop fully. Have your spray tan 2 or 3 days before the big day. Also, spray tanning isn't an exact science, and different factors can influence how your tan turns out. If you have any spots that need to be touched up, you will have enough time to do it. Have a trial run 3-4 weeks before the wedding. If you never had a spray tan, it is not really an option to skip this step. And if you are using our services, we require it. DHA is a chemical that interacts with your skin, the air, and your body's chemistry to develop into a unique color. While it is a natural sugar, there is still a chemical reaction happening. It’s best to know beforehand how it will react with your skin. We offer special bridal pricing.

McCann Photo shoot with Jan Thiessen

Last week we had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with Jan Thiessen at the McCann School of Art in Petersburg. These photos showcase 2 new gorgeous gowns we have in the shop this season. It is always wonderful working with Jan, and exciting to see the pictures thru his creative shots. This was our first time visiting McCann in person, and it is absolutely gorgeous there. I would definitely consider it a "must check out" for any Bride looking for that type of venue for their wedding. Enjoy the pictures!

The Fun we had at the Bridal Expo!

This past Sunday we had a blast at the Bridal Expo. It was great to meet so many people and we really appreciate everyone that came out to see us.  It takes a lot of work to pull it all together and we are fortunate to have so many people that are willing to help us out. We recruited Friends, Family and even customers to be our standing models for the day and everyone looked amazing. Jen, from Adam Cole Salon, came to help us get all of the models hair done and we owe her a very big Thank You! Staci Egan, owner of Contempo Jewelry, adorned all of our models with her gorgeous jewelry, and also helped us out at our booth. Bridal Expo Time!

It's that time of year again - time for the Central PA Bridal Expo, and we are thrilled to be one of the sponsors of the show again this year!  It is being held Sunday, January 29th  from 12-4 at Celebration Hall.  We are so excited to showcase some of our Brand New Bridal Gowns, Mothers gowns and Bridesmaids dresses! It's our Anniversary!!

Some days I feel like we just opened yesterday...but  this Friday we will celebrate our 6 year anniversary! It has been quite a journey filled with so many amazing people and memories, that I can hardly wait to see what the next 6 years will bring. When Jess & I decided to get in to this business, we talked alot about "our brides" and what type of experience we wanted to give them. We hadn't met any of them yet, but somehow we knew that this would be about so much more then "selling" a bride her wedding gown.What we didn't know was that we would not only meet beautiful brides with inspiring stories, but that we would make lasting friendships that go way beyond the walls of this shop! We could not have gotten this far without the support of our customers, and for that we are very Thankful!
I could not finish this entry with out including an huge Thank you to our family & friends, and we can't forget all of the girls that work here with us every day! (Lexi, Diane, Sharon & Cathy - We love and adore you all!)  The support and help from all of you has meant more to us then you can imagine!

Designer Spotlight - Jasmine Bridal!

As the New Year starts to roll, the new Bridal gowns for 2012 are coming in, and we could not be more excited! We are going to showcase some of the amazing new designs by Jasmine Bridal.

This first gown is a sweet ballgown style with a gorgeous crystal belt at the waist. It is a soft Tulle fabric with a chapel train. Very soft and romantic!

This gown is more is made of organza and the tiers are very flattering! I personally love the bling at the waist, it definitely draws the eye in to the small of your waist.

This dress is made with Luminous Taffeta, making it very lightweight and a great option for summer weddings.

Another gorgeous dress in Taffeta. It is a fitted silhouette with a super fun skirt.
